In the United States all international adoptions must now be facilitated or supervised by an agency with Hague accreditation. See the website of the US Department of State for a list of agencies.

Please click through the tabs below to learn more about why we exist.

Our vision is of an educated and aware International adoption community in which prospective and new parents have the resources and knowledge available to address any issues that may arise while completing the adoption process.
Our mission is to provide resources and information on the variety of issues parents may face in the process of completing their international adoption so they are equipped to make informed decisions in continuing to care for their child, rather than discontinuing or disrupting the adoption.

ü      To inform the International adoption community through our web site, providing on-line education, resources, and training for parents, guides, social workers, etc. on the various issues, such as signs of grieving, post institutional behavior and other unexpected issues that may arise during the adoption process.

ü      To prevent the disruptions of adoptions.

ü      To provide direct support and information to families in foreign countries who are having difficulty proceeding with their adoptions by partnering with agencies and their appointed guides in the process, as well as having resident partners in-country to give counsel and guidance to families.

Ø                  We will provide education and support regardless of race, color, religion, creed or national origin.

Ø                  We will respect the laws and decisions of the country, while offering constructive solutions to adoptive parents and children in crisis.

Ø                  We will (attempt to) give preference to the needs of the children over own needs or the needs of the  adoptive parents.
