Crisis Support Services

Sometimes we and our children need more than support from friends and family. If you think you are struggling with depression, if you aren’t bonding with your child, or if your child is struggling to securely attach to you then professional help from people who understand these issues can make a world of difference. There is no shame in asking for help. In fact, it’s part of being a responsible parent.

If you are in a crisis, are afraid of what you might do to yourself or your child, or are scared and don’t know where else to turn, the following are some agencies and organizations that may be able to help. If they can’t directly provide the support you need, they will likely know who can. Again, asking for help is a responsible act of parenting.
