Despite media reports to the contrary, Moldova reports that international adoptions remain open and there are no plans to close adoptions.

Kazakhstan closed PDF Print E-mail
As of March 2008, Kazakhstan has temporarily halted the acceptance of new adoption cases while they review current cases. This is their official governmental position, although some agencies report that new cases are being processed.
